HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT II, Vice President for Resource Development, to perform complex and diverse responsibilities in support of the human resources and staff development functions for Resource Development and the Alumni Association. Will be responsible for calendar management, scheduling telephone screens and interviews, processing employment-related transactions, job postings, weekly payroll, intranet content management, and other tasks as assigned. Duties include reviewing and processing confidential employee transactions and maintaining confidential employee files; processing weekly payroll, maintaining awareness of pay policies and procedures, and resolving any issues that arise; assisting with onboarding of new employees and with the logistics of training programs, rewards and recognition, and other projects as needed; writing job ads and posting to a variety of job sites; maintaining job posting and advertising logs; creating and managing intranet content for human resources and training sections, requiring knowledge of website management software; and exporting data from Brio Query and creating useful and easy to read reports. Will work under minimal supervision with a focus towards customer service.

REQUIREMENTS: a minimum of four years of office experience, preferably in a university setting; ability to deal effectively with people at all levels; customer service orientation; strong communication skills; ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and exhibit initiative and resourcefulness; solid computer skills including experience with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; attention to detail; excellent organizational skills; and ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion. Must be able to multitask while dealing with a high volume of work and possess a strong commitment to following and communicating policies and procedures. Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
