This member of the team provides clerical and general support to every function of the HR department including benefits, retirement plans, payroll, recruiting, associate administration, support services and other projects as needed.

  • Assist Director of Human Resources with various projects as well as scheduling meetings, editing documents and expense reports, and booking travel
  • Assist with the scheduling and tracking of the firms Diversity Initiatives
  • Prepare and follow-up on DOL Pay Rate and Payday Forms for all employees
  • Schedule internal training sessions
  • Assist with performance review processes
  • Maintain payroll filing
  • Assist with benefit statements
  • Process address/name changes internally and with benefit carriers
  • Assist with mailings for required health insurance notices
  • Maintain recruiting database
  • Process response letters to applicants
  • Complete initial screening of resumes
  • Process termination letters and COBRA letters
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in office administration; human resources experience is preferred
  • High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong proofreading skills and attention to detail
  • Strong math and analytical skills
  • Demonstrates a high level of professionalism
  • Communicates effectively orally and in writing
  • Must be able to effectively multi-task, meet deadlines and excel in a team atmosphere
  • Military experience a plus
