We are currently seeking qualified professionals to consider for HR Business Partner roles in its Texas-based manufacturing facilities. Initial HR Business Partner opportunities are located in the Company's Baytown (Cedar Bayou) plant just east of Houston and in Borger, Texas, outside of Amarillo. Chevron Phillips Chemical has other Texas-based facilities in the greater Houston area as well as in Port Arthur and Orange. The Company's corporate headquarters is located in The Woodlands, Texas.
Responsibilities of the open positions include full-scale HR generalist support associated with manufacturing facilities related to the production of plastic feedstocks, plastics and specialty chemicals. Selected candidates will report to the local Human Resources Manager and be involved in the development and implementation of strategic HR programs in partnership with the plant leadership and corporate HR teams. Selected candidates will play a role in key HR initiatives including employee and or labor relations, workforce planning, recruiting/staffing, organizational development, talent/performance management, diversity/inclusion, compensation, regulatory compliance, employee communications, public affairs and other projects/duties as assigned. At times, the successful candidate may have the delegation of the HR manager.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in human resource management, business administration or related field is required. Graduate-level degreed candidates are also encouraged to apply.
3+ years of HR experience is preferred with some in a manufacturing environment being a plus.
Successful candidates should have demonstrated the ability to manage the design and implementation of HR programs and services.
Excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are required.
A team-oriented focus, leadership skills and strong business acumen are also important for superior performance in this position.
Flexibility to relocate to other facilities in the future, including to the Company's corporate office in The Woodlands, is a plus for the successful candidate.
