Basic Purpose:

Responsible for Human Resources related systems projects across all HR functional areas including Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting and Training. Facilitates project meetings to discuss end user requirements, project status, and deployment needs. Responsible for the hands-on development and technical implementation of solutions.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Perform detailed data analysis and work with Human Resources team to develop new requirements for processes/applications and translate those requirements into design and functional specifications.
  • Work with IT to ensure that all design solutions (e.g., application security, data feeds, etc.) complies with IT and industry standards.
  • Identify opportunities for process workflow redesign and improvement.
  • Strong technical documentation skills. Translate business requirements into design and functional specifications.
  • Support ad hoc analysis and reporting requests from Human Resources team.
  • Develop interactive user interfaces and reports for existing databases for use both within HR and the firm.
  • Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and other regulatory requirements. Assist with internal/external audit requests.
  • Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience.
  • Must be highly motivated to achieve client satisfaction and must also be able to work both independently and in a team environment under time pressures.
  • Demonstrated understanding of systems interrelations and relational database concepts.
  • Effective listening, communication and presentation skills – verbal and written.
  • Strong data modeling skills, advanced use of Excel (including macros, working with arrays of data, statistical analysis, VBA)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Access.
  • Knowledge of client-server and multi-tier architecture, database, system design, and technical architecture concepts. Strong MS SQL skills.
  • Strong data analysis skills required – must have experience gathering, organizing and analyzing large amounts of data, interpreting the data and then communicating/presenting the results in an organized fashion.
  • Familiar with Adobe Acrobat form creation (ex\ Adobe Livecycle Designer), Org chart creation tools (Visio OrgPlus, etc.) a plus
  • Familiar with SharePoint a plus.
  • PHP and other web related experience a plus.
  • Ceridian HR/Payroll SQL experience (or other Human Capital Management (HCM) / Payroll system) a plus.
