IA Interior Architects , the only global architecture firm concentrating exclusively on interior architecture, is hiring a full-time Human Resources Coordinator in the financial district of San Francisco. In this position, you will support various HR processes and programs, and will serve as the back-up for payroll processing. You will have a high degree of interaction with employees and managers, and will work on ad hoc projects. In this role, you will assist in the administration of human resources by being responsible for:

HR Administration—HRIS processing, learning management system administration, data collection, salary survey completion, data input and reporting, employee file maintenance

Employment and Separation Processing— new hire paper work, separation packages, immigration processing

Benefits Administration—new employee benefits enrollment, employee inquiries, coordination with vendors, resolution of eligibility and claims issues, invoice reconciliation

HR Data Collection and Analysis-turnover reporting, employee survey administration, performance management monitoring

Leave Administration – communication with employees and managers, leave tracking, coordination with benefits

Payroll backup – payroll processing in absence of Payroll Manager

Administrative Support—filing, photocopying, preparing mail, maintaining supplies

Required Skills and Qualifications:
4+ years’ experience as an HR Coordinator, including benefits administration experience and exposure to HR practices and labor law. Basic payroll experience is preferred

Advanced MS Office application skills required. Familiarity with ADP HR and Benefits system is strongly preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to communicate effectively with employees at varying levels

Proven ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality

Experience in HR in an Architecture/Engineering firm or other consulting environment is strongly preferred
