SummaryThis position is part of the Human Resource team and administers recruiting and other Human Resource related administrative activities to support timely efficient service to the site.Responsibilities Administer recruiting activities to ensure diverse workforce in the coordination of: application screening, pre-employment testing, open houses, interviewing, staffing agencies, professional recruits, etc., to ensure timely and accurate selection of candidates. Act as point of contact for affirmative action plan for EEO tracking and reporting, VETS-100 tracking reporting and other compliance related activities. Maintain accurate departmental staffing levels and provide weekly updates and reports to department managers. Processes new hire paperwork and enters information into HRIS to create employee record for HRIS system. Handle administrative activities for department (filing, document retrieval, research, etc.) to support efficient and timely access to information. Verifies employment status and wages to ensure appropriate and accurate dissemination of information. Provide back up support to Human Resources team members to ensure consistent delivery of services to workforce. Write memos, letters and or reports and process daily invoices for timely communication and payment. Tracks and measures Human Resources data in order to help improve Human Resource systems. Responsible for special projects as assigned to support department in its efforts to service the site.
Education/Experience An understanding of the fenestration industry Excellent communication skills Able to interact professionally with all levels within the organization and with external suppliers Associate of Arts degree in business required Two years administration experience required Previous work experience in Human Resources is preferred
