Reporting to the US Director HR & Retention, the HR Coordinator provides support to the US Human Resources department.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide support to the US Human Resources department, assisting with the coordination for all important functions such as corporate training and development, benefits administration, leave of absence administration, and administrative support to the US HR Director
  • Handling of incoming and outgoing departmental mail and communications
  • Complete non-DOT employment verifications
  • Assist with the administration of the service award programs
  • Assist with pre-employment/quarterly random drug/alcohol testing notifications
  • Assist with departmental data entry, filing and auditing
  • Possesses and demonstrates the ability to perform assigned tasks in a manner that adheres to the companies Safety, Health, Environmental and Security policies
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

  • Posses a wide range of HR knowledge
  • PeopleSoft 8 experience a plus
  • Advanced skills with MS Word and Excel
  • Strong commitment to customer service
  • Strong time management skills for multi-tasking
  • Punctual and regular attendance is a minimum requirement of this position
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma
  • Post-secondary education preferred
