This is a part-time, benefit eligible position (24 hours per week).
Reporting to the Assistant VP of Human Resources, the Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Department, and providing and coordinating all administrative functions.
Specifically, the Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for the following:
Coordinate employee files and records, both hard copy and electronically, ensuring data integrity
Process new hire and termination paperwork
Email new hire / term notifications to distribution lists
Update and track licenses, certifications, competency tests and medical tests in ADP
Schedule and coordinate all aspects of CPR/CPI Classes
Track all performance evaluations, goals and objectives & signed policies in ADP
Schedule and coordinate all aspects of New Hire Orientation
Post open positions; source and phone screen candidates, schedule interviews, prepare follow up correspondence, complete reference checks, CORI checks, and DEEC checks
Update Open/Filled Position Report
Coordinate and maintain search files and records to include personnel requisitions, tracking source codes, etc.
Provide clerical and administrative support to the AVP HR as needed
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years experience in a Human Resources function. Strong computer skills in Word and Excel are required and experience with human resources information systems is preferred. Previous experience with ADP HR/Payroll is preferred. Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines while demonstrating excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
