HR Director

We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a seasoned professional to join our dynamic team in this highly visible and collaborative role. The candidate will act as the right hand advisor to top leadership, providing counseling services that will have a direct impact on strategic direction and influence decisions. This candidate will be looked upon to bring a fresh perspective to different initiatives and will have an opportunity to have their voice heard outside of the HR capacity. To be a success in this position, the candidate must entrench himself/herself into the culture and build strong key relationships in order to drive change and affect results. Key qualities of this successful candidate are strong decision making abilities, a creative approach combined with critical thinking skills, and a global HR perspective to include compensation, benefits, change management and employee/labor relations.

Additional Responsibilities include:
Lead a team of HR professionals who are responsible for providing a complete range of proactive HR services for designated client groups.
Direct day-to-day HR operations for assigned client groups, provide development and guidance to staff and management, act as labor relations expert in day to day operations and leadership in union negotiations.

The qualified candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree, labor relations experience and 8-10 years of prior HR management experience. A Master’s Degree, and previous work history in a healthcare environment is preferred. Professional Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification, or ACC Coaching Certification through the International Federation of Coaching preferred.
