Human Resources Generalist

MED Institute, Inc. is currently accepting applications for a Human Resources Generalist to become a part of our growing Human Resources team. This position is responsible for managing Human Resource related issues at Cook West Lafayette and Indianapolis companies.

  • Manage position development process;
  • Work with Director of Human Resources to develop employee training and development plans;
  • Encourage and foster employee development through mentorship and training;
  • Process/screen applicants for open positions;
  • Manage the interviewing process;
  • Manage new employee enrollment/orientation;
  • Manage and participate in periodic employee reviews;
  • Manage and participate in employee corrective/disciplinary procedures;
  • Manage employee files;
  • Perform exit interviews;
  • Ensure legal compliance on human resource issues; and
  • Provide conflict resolution as needed within teams.

Essential Qualifications
· Minimum of B.S. or B.A. required;
· 2-5 years of previous experience in Human Resources preferred;
  • Ability to uphold strict confidentiality;
