The HR Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating general HR support in the areas of benefits, employee relations, compliance, policy administration, HRIS, and records maintenance.

  • Assist benefits administration which includes but not limited to open enrollment, claim resolution, audits, and addressing benefits concerns
  • Maintain accurate files for leaves of absences, ensuring paperwork is completed and processed in a timely manner
  • Assist the new hire process, which includes but not limited to preparing new hire and benefits packet, working with IT and Facilities to set up new hire workstation, and processing new hire paperwork
  • Assist and maintain the accuracy and confidentiality of all documentation and personnel records for employees, to include benefits, record keeping, etc.
  • Assist HR Generalist with timely data entry of employee data and change notices
  • Assist the day-to-day administration of Human Resources policies, procedures and programs to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and corporate objectives
  • Assist preparing organizational charts and HRIS reports
  • Maintain HR information up to date on company’s wiki site
  • Keep up to date with the ever-changing benefit legislation up to and including ARRA, HEART, and GINA
  • Facilitate employee internal training sessions as necessary
  • Assist Recruiting team to process background checks and offer letters
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Vice President of Human Resources
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent Human Resources experience, some background in HR organization development is a plus
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience in an administrative role with a strong emphasis in a Human Resources Department
  • Basic understanding with ADP’s Human Resources & Benefits (HRB) database
  • Basic understanding and/or experience in the following: employment policies and practices, EEO, and California Employment laws
  • The ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with managers and employees at all level
  • Strong computer skills with MS Office products and MS Visio
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, presentation and leadership skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize changing objectives and work with minimal supervision and direction
  • Ability to take initiative and take ownership of projects assigned
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High degree of honesty and integrity
  • Team-player, positive attitude and flexible
  • Must be comfortable with adult content
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
