Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members in order to provide superior guest service.
Responsible for all or part of human resources activities to include employment, employee relations and benefits.
Manages the recruitment process for team members and interns using the standard recruiting and hiring practices and procedures necessary to recruit and hire a superior workforce.
Coordinates transfer request paperwork by screening transfer with team member and answering questions for team member regarding position openings to ensure team member is qualified for position requested; inputs transfers and submits requests to appropriate department manager, following company policy. Maintains the budget of FTE's. Maintain turnover reporting. Inputs all new hire, transfers, promotions, salary changes, reviews, terms PAF's into Infinium.
Maintains team member-related data bases. Prepares and analyzes reports that are necessary to carry out the functions of the department and company. Prepares periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested.
Ensures completion of all new hire and post orientation paperwork by reviewing for accuracy and completeness in order to be consistent with record keeping policies.
Assists with rehire eligibility in accordance with appropriate state and federal statues and company policy, by evaluating work record, reason for termination and employment status since leaving the company in order to inform applicant of rehire decision.
Conducts internal and external job fairs and other recruitment functions. Conducts random and pre-employment drug screenings. Running newspaper ads when needed. Conducts exit interviews, as needed.
Monitors and maintains departmental annual budget.
Advises managers and supervisors about the steps in the progressive discipline system of the company. Counsels managers on employment issues.
Assists with the development of Human Resources policies for the company with regards to team member relations. Partners with management to communicate Human Resources policies, procedures, programs and laws.
Participates in the conduct of investigations when team member complaints or concerns are brought forth.
Planning and attending company events, and planning quarterly team member meetings.
Conducts New Hire Orientation, monthly benefit meetings and other department duties as needed.
Attend and participate in meetings, completing follow-up as assigned.
Perform work regularly and predictably.
Other duties as assigned.
