Who We Need!
As a Human Resources Generalist at Synacor, you will provide daily Generalist support for our technology group including technical recruiting, employee relations, performance management, and leadership development. In addition, you will partner with technology management teams by executing strategic HR initiatives that support the business and build on the company’s “Best Place to Work” reputation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Act as business partner to the technology group including working with hiring managers to develop effective and efficient recruitment and sourcing strategies that result in client satisfaction
Utilize creative and professional recruitment methods to identify and recruit top-performing candidates, engaging in tactical and strategic sourcing methods
Source, screen, interview, pipeline and guide high quality and diverse candidates through the recruitment process in a fast-paced working environment
Provide strategic recruitment advice and education to hiring managers based on market intelligence, best practices, and changing business needs
Provide assistance on employee relations issues in partnership with managers, including the development, execution, planning, and facilitation of employee relations efforts
Implement initiatives to drive performance management, career development plans, and training & development
Other duties as assigned
Education, Experience and Skills:
A bachelor's degree required
Minimum 3 years of technical recruiting experience required
High-tech and/or internet industry experience preferred.
Able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and business focus when dealing with sensitive issues or information
Ability to multi-task and easily adaptable to a fast-paced, flexible environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to interact and support all levels of management and business partners
