The Human Resources Assistant Intern will be responsible for the following tasks:
Support local and corporate Recruiting functions.
Performs accurate data entry into variety of programs, including HRIS, calendars and other HR documents.
Arranges travel for candidates.
Schedules candidate interviews.
May conduct reference checks.
Maintain recruiting files to ensure they are current with complete/accurate information.
Coordinate on-site meeting and/or interview arrangements, such as room reservation, invitations, and refreshments.
Other appropriate activities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to maintain 100% confidentiality
Demonstrated ability to schedule multi-person interviews.
Demonstrated ability to organize, coordinate and multi-task.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to interact extensively with candidates and employees.
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes, and other standard office programs preferred; HRIS experience, preferred.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
Ability to perform data entry both quickly and accurately
Willingness and ability to work in a team environment.
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the English language.
Desired Education: Jr. Level in pursuit of Bachelor's in Human Resources
Equivalent combination of education and experience will be accepted.
