Panasonic Corporation of North America (PNA) is seeking a Human Resources Intern.
The Human Resources Intern supports HR
Business Partners and Generalists in support of our businesses HR needs. In addition, is part of the Talent Management
team to research and develop programs in support of training and organization
design (OD) initiatives.

Generalists - HR activities this position will be involved in are:
On-boarding and New Employee
Experience (NEE) – Participate in the NEE initiative. Also, provides coordination of the
on-boarding process in conjunction with HR Business Partners/Generalist
and line management.
Off-boarding – Participate in
Off-boarding initiatives. Also,
provides coordination of the off-boarding process in conjunction with HR
Business Partners/Generalist and line management.
Policy & Procedure
(P&P) Committee – Research and update policies & procedures to
ensure they are in compliance with applicable laws and meet business
Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
– Ensures FMLA P&P are current and coordinates leaves of absence.
PNA monthly Town Hall –
Partners with HR Business Partners to find relevant speakers for the Monthly
meetings. In addition they will be
involved with meeting logistics.
“TOSS” and “Riverfront”
projects – Participate in the Company relocation to Newark
by reviewing employee records and determining disposition as well as being
involved in the employee activities committee to aid in employee
Management - Coordinate with the Talent Management team in training
Coordinate training sessions
with HR Business Partners/Generalists and line management.
Ensure that training materials
are available for training sessions.
Education & Experience:
In process of obtaining BA or BS
in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline, with
intent to pursue Human Resources field.
Experience with MS Office (Word,
Excel, Power Point)
Understand HR Laws and best
Highly organized; with good
Strong communication skills,
including written and verbal, with ability to interface with all levels.
Maintain high level of
Excellent verbal and written
No travel required.
