              Divisional Description:

              Transamerica's Life & Protection (L&P) division provides operations, information technology, legal, marketing, and finance support to internal agents and independent producers who market the companies' life insurance, health insurance, long-term care insurance, marketing services, and investment products.               Responsibilities:
              • Assist in the development and revision of promotional materials including brochures, websites, recruiting stands and other pieces necessary for the Internship Program
              • Organize and assist with event and activity planning
              • Execute tasks during peak recruiting seasons which includes: Posting internships, creating and completing job files, coordinating logistics of marketing materials, scheduling on-campus interviews, schedule phone interviews and on-site interviews, possibly attend career fairs
              • Identify ways to enhance and improve existing elements of the Program
              • Assist with creating electronic filing system on SharePoint

              Majors: Business Administration; General, Individual & Liberal Studies; Management; Marketing, PR & Communication

              Other Information:
              ·
              Seeking Business, Marketing, Management, Human Resources or Public Relations major; some knowledge of website design is beneficial
              ·
              Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
              Strong communication skills, verbal and written
              ·
              Enjoys creative and innovative opportunities
              ·
              Strong organization and interpersonal skills are required
              ·
              Detailed-oriented, results driven and takes initiative on projects; superior project management skills
              ·
              Prior experience in sales, project creation and implementation, event planning, scheduling or coordination of activities is a plus
              Graduation date must be May 2014 or later
