              Divisional Description:

              Transamerica's Life & Protection (L&P) division provides operations, information technology, legal, marketing, and finance support to internal agents and independent producers who market the companies' life insurance, health insurance, long-term care insurance, marketing services, and investment products.               • Assist in the development and revision of promotional materials including brochures, websites, recruiting stands and other pieces necessary for the Internship Program
              • Organize and assist with event and activity planning
              • Execute tasks during peak recruiting seasons which includes: Posting internships, creating and completing job files, coordinating logistics of marketing materials, scheduling on-campus interviews, schedule phone interviews and on-site interviews, possibly attend career fairs
              • Identify ways to enhance and improve existing elements of the Program
              • Assist with creating electronic filing system on SharePoint

              Majors: Business Administration; General, Individual & Liberal Studies; Management; Marketing, PR & Communication

              Other Information:
              Seeking Business, Marketing, Management, Human Resources or Public Relations major; some knowledge of website design is beneficial
              Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
              Strong communication skills, verbal and written
              Enjoys creative and innovative opportunities
              Strong organization and interpersonal skills are required
              Detailed-oriented, results driven and takes initiative on projects; superior project management skills
              Prior experience in sales, project creation and implementation, event planning, scheduling or coordination of activities is a plus
              Graduation date must be May 2014 or later
