You will be responsible for the day to day management of the Human Resource function, providing confident,
accurate and timely support to all employees based in North America, Canada and Brazil. Reporting into the
Group Director Human Resources based in the UK on current HR issues; driving HR both operationally and
Recruitment On-boarding Compensation & benefits Performance Reviews and Appraisals Succession Planning Disciplinary & Grievance issues Policies and procedures
What we look for: Previous experience in a HR Manager role Experience supporting a diverse and geographically spread employee base in a similar fast-paced industry Ability to work flexibly under changing dynamics and ambiguity Strong attention to detail Able to confidently work on own initiative and relate to colleagues at all levels Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) High level of confidentiality and discretion Strong planning and prioritizing skills
Knowledge, skills & abilities: Must possess a sound knowledge of management-labor relations, employment law, practices and procedures within Human Resources Management. MS Office skills Ability to make sound independent decisions Must possess leadership skills (initiative, self-starter, influential, and drive) Strong analytical/problem solving skills Comfortable with conducting presentations Well organized with the ability to plan work, cope with conflicting work pressures, establish appropriate priorities and meet deadlines Ability to deal effectively with difficult people Demonstrate a positive, proactive and motivated attitude to work. Possesses an independent and resourceful nature whilst structured and systematic in approach Support overall effectiveness of the business by modelling behaviours consistent with company values
Minimum educational level: BA/BS, preferably in Human Resources or related field
