Human Resources Manager (Business Partner)

Position Summary
In this role, you will partner with managers in areas including, but not limited to, talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, organizational effectiveness, learning and development and performance management. You must be innovative and adapt well to change. The ideal candidate will foster a strong customer service orientation, work collaboratively on teams, and consult effectively and independently with all levels of the organization.

Roles & Responsibilities
1. Provide guidance and solutions to leaders and employees with regard to HR programs, processes, policies and procedures.
2. Implement, Develop and Administer HR programs to support organizational strategic objectives
3. Help to develop, communicate and implement pro-active employee relations strategies pertaining to employee relations, team-based initiatives, training, leadership development, employee communications, and compensation and benefits in support of goals and strategic objectives.
4. Investigate and resolve Employee Relations issues and complaints. Focus on creating a positive employee relations environment and culture. Coordinate exit interview process for client group and communication of findings to management.
5. Work collaboratively with business leaders, develop workforce planning strategies including recruiting strategies to fill key posts within all divisions. Includes developing sourcing strategies, partnering with recruitment outsource providers and coordinating the total recruiting project ensuring timely action, cost effective strategies, and a professional and positive contact with all candidates. Work with external recruiters, industry associates, national publications and other sources to develop candidates and build a talent pipeline.
6. Counsel Management on individual HR issues, performance problems, terminations, promotions, position creation, job content, job description, and offer process.
7. Contribute to the business objectives by helping business leaders identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures and processes. Act as a liaison between the operations and HR to ensure HR services are aligned with the needs of the business and identify new opportunities where HR can add value to the business.
8. Participate in integrations of new associates, working with the division to provide coaching, mentorship and development opportunities that expedite an associate’s ability to deliver business results.
9. Effectively administer existing programs in accordance with policies and procedures including Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action compliance.

Knowledge & Competencies
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field, PHR or SPHR designation preferred.
• At least 5 years related experience in a HR generalist role
• Must be able to embrace a sense of urgency, innovation and resourcefulness required in a fast-paced company
• Strong working knowledge of HR laws and regulations
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to manage priorities and workflow
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong relationship management, communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to handle constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
• Ability to inspire through influence
• Ability to thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment, can roll up their sleeves, work hard, have fun, and get the job done
