Applications are now being accepted for a full-time Human Resources Manager, specializing in training and development and employee relations, to join our dynamic team of professionals. This is a highly responsible and visible position that reports directly to the Administrative Services Director and is a member of the city’s leadership team. The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for managing and directing citywide functions for training and development, performance management and employment. Additional areas of responsibility include policies and procedures and employment law. We are looking for a positive, team player who can work well within a small team environment; one who can quickly establish rapport and build relationships and working partnerships with a diverse employee population.
QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate will have a Bachelors’ degree (Masters’ degree preferred) in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field with six to eight years of increasingly responsible professional experience in employee relations and training. PHR/SPHR strongly preferred. S alary range is $62,285-$80,757 annually DOQ.
