Analyst Special Pay Staff Processing
This position is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of employee payments related to special pays; Bonus, Commissions, Awards, Salary Changes and Military payments. Responding to employee inquiries related to these payments is a major responsibility. This position will interact on a regular basis with internal company employees, HR, HR Compensation and Labor Relations and external third party vendors managing all related special payment interfaces.
Scope of responsibilities include but is not limited to the following:
Responding to employee inquiries and issues received either by ACD calls, emails or live chats. Researching the items, documenting findings and providing direct feedback to the employee.
General responsibilities to perform employee transactional payment updates with the system.
Processing and controlling spreadsheet submissions on a timely basis from various internal company departments and third party vendors. Reviewing fluctuation analysis reports and PAY 11 error reports to ensure all files are balanced and processed correctly.
Perform routine audits to ensure processing accuracy.
Support payroll projects that affect employee special payments including updates required by changes in processing new earn codes, system issues, employee transfers etc.
Provide support to systems team relating to project testing efforts.
Ability to identify and communicate process improvements as identified in the normal performance of daily functional activities.
Cooperatively interact with peers to resolve employee questions/issues.
Good interpersonal skills.
Good experience with PeopleSoft HRMS and processing responsibilities
Good experience with end to end payroll processing requirements.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Very strong Customer Service skills desirable (both oral and written).
Finance Operations such as experience desirable.
Good organizational, time management and communication skills.
General understanding of required compliance with legal, regulatory, and financial requirements governing functional tasks and activities.
Possess knowledge of payroll practices, policies and procedures

Good quantitative, organizational and analytical skills
Possesses very good communication skills (both oral and written)
Ability to communicate to Supervisor and levels

Minimum of 3-5 years experience in HRMS/ Processing system applications
Bachelor s Degree or equivalent work experience desired
