Job Function Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the HR Representative will play a key role on the HR team by providing support and coordination for a variety of HR processes and programs. In this HR service delivery role, this professional will be responsible for various HR systems, HR related support tasks and driving process improvement and efficiencies. This position will work cross-functionally to support the overall operations and functions of the organization and will interpret policies and apply them without direct oversight.

Major Areas of Accountability:
Manage the New Hire/Termination Process including; pre-employment/termination paper work , background checks, reference checks, pre-employment tests and performing new hire orientations/exits
· Manager the New Hire Notification Form, offer binder assembly and assuring all appropriate paperwork is received and filed in a timely manner
· Partner with Business Services to ensure coordination program
· Responsible for personnel files and maintaining a filing process including I-9 and employee form compliance
· Accurately process HR entry transactions including new hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, equity increases and various Personnel Action Notice forms in a timely manner to insure payroll accuracy and effective management of employee data
· Be the liaison between HR and Payroll for system effectiveness
· Handle the employee files and records to include reference verifications, requests for personnel information and reporting of HR data for internal customers and external vendors
· Metrics development and reporting for HR analysis
· Responsible for running routine query and/or HR related ad hoc reports
· Accountable for HRIS management and maintenance - including reporting, improvements and audits
· Maintain and make necessary changes as required to organizational charts through OrgPlus
· Responsible for invoice management for vendors and corporate business units
· Coordination and process management of vendor credentialing
· Receive, process and distribute employment verifications and other HR employment documents
· Calculate and create separation agreements
· Support recruitment activities that may include the coordination of candidate assessments, interview scheduling and reporting and maintenance of the applicant tracking system
· Processes and communicates relevant on-boarding information to the appropriate parties for new employees, and temporary or contract personnel
· Advocate for best practices for all HR related processes
· Update People and Culture page on intranet site

Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
· 3+ years of Human Resources experience preferred
· Taleo, Peoplesoft and/or HRIS experience preferred
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Working knowledge of common human resource and payroll practices; Federal and State regulations
· Strong detail orientation with a high degree of accuracy and sense of urgency
· Proven ability to provide a high level of customer service
· Ability to organize and prioritize job tasks in a deadline driven environment
· Demonstrates a high degree of integrity and ability to work with confidential information with absolute discretion
· Proven ability to improve processes and system efficiencies
· Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
· Ability to perform in a team environment while maintaining a high degree of customer focus
