This position is responsible for following trending of work-related injuries and maintaining records and reports for workers compensation and OSHA. The HR specialist will handle all recruitment efforts and assist in employee retention. This position will also administer all employee education, to include education recordkeeping, creating courseware, assisting with in-services and mandatory education requirements, as well as assisting with various human resources duties such as benefits administration, policy and procedure revisions, personnel issues, and other duties as assigned.
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or Business Administration with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in HR, or equivalent education and experience in Human Resource field.
Experience: Previous experience in one or more of the following areas is desired: worker's compensation, benefits administration, education or recruitment.
