This job will be responsible for providing I & E support for CDM Resource Management south Texas regions. Responsibilities of the position will include, but are not limited to:
Install, maintain and calibrate controllers and control end devices in plant, compressor station and pipeline facilities
Install, troubleshoot and repair electronic and pneumatic control systems as well as power transmission and motor control electrical systems
Use all types of test and calibration equipment, volt meters, amp meters, pressure calibrators, dead weight testers, etc. to test and calibrate control systems
Maintain a supply of parts
Perform all other duties as assigned
Ability to work safely and adhere to all federal, state and company policies and procedures governing safe work practices
High school diploma or G.E.D.
Ability to meet requirements of State and Federal regulations governing vehicle operations.
Possess an understanding commensurate with five years experience in installing, maintaining and repairing electronic and pneumatic instrumentation and controls
Effective written & verbal communication skills
Basic Computer and Microsoft Office skills
Proficient knowledge in the use of all types of test and calibration equipment, volt meters, amp meters, pressure calibrators, deadweight testers, etc.
Willingness to meet operator qualification (0Q) requirements for regulatory pipeline
Willingness to enhance knowledge through training and education
Five years of experience installing, maintaining and repairing electronic and pneumatic instrumentation and controls
Formal training and education specific to instrumentation and electrical systems
Proficient in PLC installation, programming and troubleshooting

Natural gas compression work is subject to hazardous conditions including escaping gas, adverse weather conditions, extreme temperatures, heights, high-pressure gas lines, heavy lifting, and cramped conditions.
The job will require some travel for temporary assignments, meetings, and training.
The position may require occasional unscheduled call-outs and extended workdays and/or workweeks.
