The qualified candidate will be experienced in providing technical support to internal users and external customers. To act as a resource person to all PC users. To coordinated service provided between the internal and external support groups selected by the hospital.
Coordinate IT implementation in the enterprise with a outsource vendor. Desktop (PC) platform and deployment, software configuration, debugging and support. Resolve any requests in a timely and efficient manor, with little impact on the user as possible. The Biomedical / IT technician responsibilities will include repair and preventive maintenance of IT and medical instrumentation.
Education, Training, Licensure and Experience Requirements
Education: BS degree preferred in either computers, electronics, biomedical technology, or military equivalent. Previous experience in a health care environment preferred. Valid drivers license for after hour responsibilities. 5 Plus years related experience. Excellent knowledge of PC’s, all versions of MS windows products and network experience.
