AboutWeb is in immediate need for skilled Information Assurance Documentation Support for contract support in Oakton, VA . The IA Document Specialist will support a software team responsible for the development and maintenance of a financial web based application. The team is in the process of a new software release, implementing PKI, moving from DCID 6/3 to ICD-503, and resolving issues identified during the FISCAM audit.
The IA Support will provide assistance to the security documentation process by helping to create or update existing documents, and should have experience with ICD-503 and all related documentation and standards.
Ability to produce and update documentation for a browser based financial application. Able to create and edit documentation in MS Word. Familiar with screen capture tools is strongly preferred. Also needs to be able to create diagrams using MS Visio, and other visual/graphics related tools. Experience with technical documentation that is required with a DoDIIS/Intelligence Community producing documents such as: System Security Plans Functional Requirement Documents Interface Control Documents Disaster Recovery Plans Test Plans Requirement Traceability Matrices User Manuals Systems Administration Manuals Test Planning Documents Should be familiar with information assurance, security, and computer technology terminology, with excellent verbal and communications skills. Qualifications:
US Citizenship Required; Active TS/SCI security clearance. Bachelor's Degree and at least three to five (3-5) or more years of technical writing in IT with web based applications.
