Job Description:
The International Assignment Solutions Technology Group is a leader in providing value added solutions to complex business problems. Our practice automates client's business processes through implementation of propriety expatriate software, and helps in process redesign and systems integration with enterprise HR/Payroll solutions such as PeopleSoft, SAP and HR Access.
As a member of the IAS Technology team, you will play an important role in the development lifecycle of our various expatriate management solutions. You will be responsible for contributing to projects that span both the client implementation and product teams. As technical team member you will work closely with both onshore and offshore development resources and be responsible for the following:
Managing application deployments
Coordinating with development resources onshore/offshore
Technical documentation and review
Implement secure development processes
Participate in peer code and architecture reviews

IAS Technology team members act as the direct liaison with senior IT professionals within PwC and our clients. Providing specialized assistance in troubleshoot and resolve client issues surrounding the technical / application aspects of our expatriate technology suites.
As a technical member of a client implementation or product team you responsible for designing and implementing system integration approaches using Microsoft and Oracle technologies. During the implementation process you gather business requirements and create domain specific reports utilizing Microsoft or other 3rd party reporting solutions.
As part of the technology team you will work to evolve or create products to meet our client's business needs. This requires leveraging a number of development methodologies against a comprehensive understanding of the global mobility

The Client Service payroll team assists our clients with their international assignment business issues. This may include preparation of payroll instructions for delivery to a third party system, review of delivery processes, compensation data collection and analysis, taxability assessment, implementing and utilizing Global Data Collect (the team's proprietary software product), and monitoring changes in pay instruction delivery processes and requirements within an organization.

Knowledge Preferred:
Demonstrates an extensive knowledge of expatriate-related payroll delivery, emphasizing proven extensive success in a role conducting and/or managing payroll services for international assignments

Demonstrates thorough knowledge of general tax, which includes but is not limited to the following; payroll and tax related delivery of pay instructions to client specific service provider, compensation data collection and taxability assessment.

Demonstrates proven extensive knowledge of and a track record success in a role with team and project management of multiple large and complex engagements, including leading and managing projects 1) from pre-sale and initial scoping through final delivery and signoff, and 2) within a professional business services environment that focus on Expatriate Tax Payroll systems.

Skills Preferred:
Demonstrate proven extensive abilities and success to identify and address client needs: developing client relationships; preparing complex written and verbal materials; and defining resource requirements, project workflow, risk management, budgets, billing and collection and preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials.

Demonstrates proven extensive abilities and success as a team leader, including establishing direction and motivating members, creating an atmosphere of trust, leveraging diverse views, and coaching staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback.

Demonstrates proven extensive ability to utilize effectively written and verbal business communication skills within a professional business services environment, including interacting with clients and firm staff and/or management.

Min Year Exp: 5 years
Min Degree(s) and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, computer or management information systems, industrial engineering or general business.
Master’s degree in computer science, management information systems or related degree, PMP, CPP or Six Sigma certification required
