We have an urgent opening with our reputed client for Websphere Admin at Chicago IL Local candidates preferred F2F with the client at Chicago is required after intial telephonic interview IBM Websphere Admin47 years administration experience on 61 or 7023 years experience on IBM Websphere MQWill be doing Blue Squared supportWill be working with end plan usersMUST have good communicationExperience with end client users a plus Job DescriptionApplication Support Engineer responsible for providing highquality technical support for the web based software programs Strong technologist with good understanding of application development and server administration (preferably with strong expertise in J2EE deployments on IBM Websphere Application Server) Subject Matter Expert for client facing products Provides technical expertise to customers by answering telephone calls while replying to support tickets in line with departmental measures with a focus on high quality accuracy and customer satisfaction Participates in weekly technical calls and workgroups Troubleshoots issues by analyzing log files while conducting live Webex sessions Liaison with Software Engineering teams Takes full ownership on technical issues and drives them to complete resolution Provides training to customers as required Support Engineers may be required to be oncall on a rotating basis throughout the year To be successful in this role candidate needs to bull Have exceptional troubleshooting analytical and customerhandling skillsbull Show excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)bull Have great people skills and customer oriented attitudebull Have a track record of finding creative solutions to unique problems in challenging situations Required experiencebull A bachelor degree in computer scienceengineering or equivalent work experiencebull Administrationsupport experience in IBM WebSphere Application Server and WebSphere MQ bull Installation configuration and troubleshooting of J2EE applications (preferably on IBM Webshpere Application Server)bull Strong support and administration experience in distributed enterprise software solutions (good understanding of messaging systems preferably IBM WebSphere MQ)bull Proficient in analyzing and clarifying customer queries though troubleshooting and researching existing knowledgebase articlesknown issuesbull Track record of customer facing roles with focus on providing level one support (preferably to offsite and remote customers)bull Good understanding of software lifecycle with focus on source control and configuration management Required Technical Expertise 5 years Java J2EE configuration and deployment management 3 years configuration management and deployments in Web Service oriented architecture 3 years administration and configuration in IBM WebSphere Application Server and WebSphere MQ Desired Technical Expertise 2 years DB2 SQL 2 years build automation with Hudson Cobertura Ant (or similar) 2 years source control software (ClearCase or similar) DeliverablePlan Support on B2 Please send your updated resume to seemaprotegellccom mailtoseemaprotegellccom with the following details Consultant Full NameContact No Email Id RateWork Status Availability Current location Open to relocate to Chicago IBM WebSphere Application Server, WebSphere MQ
