Responsibilities:
The goal of the Process Modeling team is to expedite the development of and/or clarification of business requirements, guide the technical architecture strategic decisions, and expedite the development of high level design via the use of process modeling. The team scopes initiatives, expedites the development of and / or clarification of business requirements, guides the technical architecture strategic decisions, and expedites the development of high level design. This role will also leads efforts aimed at building and maintaining an effective process architecture asset which can be leveraged / reused in support of initiatives and technology strategy development. Will collaborate with all areas and levels of the business and technology organization for the purposes of providing a Wholesale Bank view of the organization’s business capabilities and processes and their relationships. Provide a deep level of expertise in the Payments domain. Leverage a broad technology knowledge to support the evolution of process models to technical implementation. Guide the development of process architecture assets that effectively integrate with information models, SOA service models, and business rules. Participate in establishing and governing a common language and modeling standards.

project work will be to design, development and implementation of business process model deliverables, to include current state and future state business process models in order to drive requirements and design. This role will lead several projects as the lead process architect and will have multiple competing deadlines. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical and business resource; provides business process knowledge and capabilities as team member and individual contributor.

  • Partner with various SMEs to scope projects to determine in-scope business processes based on divisional reference model.
  • Develop current and/or future state business process models based on modeling standards and reference models.
  • Translate business process models and rules into functional and technical requirements.
  • Ensure deliverables are adhering to divisional standards and are peer reviewed.
  • Develop and/or enhance current business process modeling standards.
  • May lead or participate in educational sessions
Required Skillsets:
Strong business experience in Global Commercial/Corporate Payments and/or Deposits and associated processes

Effectively influence, negotiate and lead facilitation sessions across Technology and Line of Business organizations

Very strong communication, oral and written skills

IBM IFW BOM/IDM knowledge

Understanding of Business Process Management discipline and technology.

Demonstrated ability to adapt to change and drive change.

Effective project management and team facilitation skills.

Typically 4+ years of business process architecture and 5+ years modeling and designing business processes

3+ years using a process modeling tool such as IBM Websphere Business Modeler 6.x+

2+ years experience in requirements definition

4+ years using Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Word

Experience with business rule design and implementation a plus
