Reporting to the ICU Clinical Nurse Manager, this position is accountable for assisting the Clinical Nurse Manager with management & leadership responsibilities. Responsibilities include assisting the Clinical Nurse Manager in meeting regulatory and national standards, employee development, conflict resolution, maintaining professional standards for patient care delivery. The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for supporting Crestwood’s mission statement and plan for the provision of patient care. The incumbent will support the Clinical Nurse Manager as well as collaborate with hospital leadership in a highly diverse range of issues such as providing clinical expertise for patient care, maintaining regulatory standards for EMTALA, JACHO, or CMS, and ensuring appropriate leadership with employee relations, injuries and job performance.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing,
BS or Master’s Degree in nursing preferred
5 years experience in a Critical Care environment and should be a seasoned professional with at least 2 years of charge nurse experience in a Critical Care environment.
RN licensure in the State of Alabama
Current BLS required
Current ACLS required
