Job Description:
US Finance and Operations plays a pivotal role in implementing the firm’s business strategy, drives our financial and operational performance excellence to sustain and strengthen the firm’s financial well being, and provides business analytics that help extend PwC’s market competitiveness. There are ten correlated groups within Finance and Operations:

Finance - Controller Operations, LOS Finance, Treasury, Partnership Tax, US Procurement, Internal Audit;
Operations - Meeting & Event Services, Real Estate, Travel, Security

These groups manage the firm’s capital monetary resources; drive budgeting, forecasting, reporting and engagement economics at the partner/business unit level; establish internal controls and processes for cost management; provide a safe and progressive workplace; and provide efficient travel and meeting space so our partners and people can profitably grow our firm.

The Reporting and Compliance team includes Budgeting and Management Reporting, External Reporting, Compliance and Controls, and Reporting Services.

The GFS Data Security team is responsible for the evaluation and offering of security options to leadership for solutions that will minimize risk to the Firm as it relates to financial data.

Position/Program Requirements:
Knowledge Preferred:
Demonstrated working knowledge of evaluating security requests and helping to establish that segregation of duties policies are followed
Proven working knowledge of the development and analysis of periodic compliance reports to management and Finance leaders
Proven ability to work independently on projects and provide support with operational planning, administration and implementation
Demonstrated a strong understanding of the Firm's financial system and/or organizational structure

Skills Preferred:
Proven ability to evaluate user access requests and work with the requester and IT to help facilitate that proper access is granted
Demonstrated the ability to assess the configuration of security tools against organizational designs and staffing assignments to identify improvements and/or security conflicts and recommend corrective actions
Proven experience accurately analyzing results, identifying possible issues, making recommendations, and executing changes
Formal responsibility to clearly communicate to middle and upper management, the risk exposure to the Firm's financial applications resulting from user access to sensitive transactions and segregation of duty conflicts
- 0-20% expected travel
Minimum Years of Experience Necessary: 2
Minimum Degree(s) and Certification(s) Required:
Undergraduate Degree (e.g., BA, BS)
