The IM Program Manager Operationswill lead the strategic implementation and operationalization of complex ERP & database technologies, system architectures, and cloud infrastructure. This individual will be responsible for owning proactive operations, next generation ERP & Database technology implementation, and technical leadership across the P&W P&L teams.

Essential Responsibilities
The Power & Water ERP and Database team is looking for a leader to lead strategic operational technology implementations across P&W for database and ERP technologies, create a proactive operational rhythm, drive open source technology adoption in P&W, partner with the build team to deploy cloud based architectures, and rapidly operationalize emerging database and analytic technologies. This is a highly technical role for a senior ERP DBA with excellent leadership & communication skills, broad architectural understanding, and strategic thinking. In addition you will:
  • Lead database & ERP technology evolution – cloud based architectures, R12 implementations, self-healing redundant architectures, and next generation technologies
  • Strategically direct RAC, VCS, and VMHA
  • Drive P&W open source database strategy and adoption
  • Mentor employee & contractor technical skill development
  • Identify and implement new database and ERP technologies

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering (or a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the application of information technologies to business solutions)
  • Minimum of 5 additional years of experience with one or more database or ERP technologies as a professional DBA Eligibility Requirements:
  • Possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States

  • Ability to work in a virtual team without day to day managerial oversight
  • Solaris or Linux experience with basic system administration skills.
  • Knowledge & understanding of multi-tier system architectures
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with complex ERP environments including, oracle, hardware and supporting infrastructures
  • Administrative experience with one or more database technologies including Oracle, MSSQL, or DB2
  • Systems Administration background in Solaris, Linux, and/or Windows
  • Experience with RAC, Veritas, or Windows 2008 clustering
  • Experience with virtualization technologies
  • Shell scripting or application design experience
  • Project Management experience & proven track record
  • Provide consulting support to ERP application teams, Solutions Architect in complex systems design
  • Understanding of open source business models & applications
  • Provides leadership to identify practical solutions to improve performance and availability for support applications and infrastructure
  • Proven analytical and problem resolution skills
  • Quality and cost driven
  • Proactive responsible individual, able to set own action plans
  • Ability to influence and build consensus with other IT teams and leadership
