This position functions as website designer, graphic designer, and social media representative reporting for the University of Florida Counseling and Wellness Center. The incumbent must be knowledgeable in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Web Content Management Systems, and Database Reporting. This position requires innovation and improvisation to create dynamic and unique website content, establishing solid conceptual and a practical visual identity for the Counseling and Wellness Center. This position must understand the process behind a design and the different stages in a typical design project, while being able to work within short timelines. This position requires knowledge of Social Media policies at the University of Florida and The Counseling and Wellness Center. This position requires knowledge of interactive media platforms and needs to have the ability to manage multiple projects at once all with rigid deadlines. This position requires attendance at meetings in participation with the Website Committee, Outreach Planning Committee, and Titanium Committee at the Counseling and Wellness Center in addition to the Marketing and Publications Committee with the Division of Student Affairs to remain informed and current on the direction of the Student Affairs department in regard to Social Media guidelines. This position is under the direct supervision of the Senior Network Administrator and works closely with the Director and Assistant Director to create, maintain, and report for various internal and external organizations.

40% This position creates, designs, and develops content including but not limited to original graphic design, page designs, banners, photographs, and regular daily updates in collaboration with the Assistant Director of Outreach for the Counseling and Wellness Center website. Performs updates to the Counseling and Wellness Center’s Community Provider Database collaborating with the Assistant Director of Clinical Services. Requires knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Web Content Management System ( CMS ), and the Microsoft Office Suite.

25% Performs graphic designs, creating original work representing clean and elegant aesthetics. Produces materials for offset or letterpress printing, newspaper ads, brochures and displays for promotional purposes demonstrating good layout, color and typography skills. Designs artwork, reviews and completes paste-ups and makes appropriate changes in collaboration with the Assistant Director of Outreach. Communicates with vendors and internal fiscal team to ensure completion of printed newsletters, brochures, etc.

20% Performs Social Media Marketing. Responsible for daily updates of the Counseling and Wellness Center’s Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, and YouTube accounts. Requires knowledge of social media policies at the University of Florida and the Counseling and Wellness Center. Excellent written and verbal skills as well as proficiency with interactive media. Ensures that the message portrayed is polished, thoughtful, and consistent with the Center’s goal and strategic plan and keeps in mind the diversity of students at the University.

15% In collaboration with the Director gathers data on a semester basis for the Annual Report as well as data to complete the semester contract data for counselors. Data is combined and polished into an easy to understand report. Requires knowledge of Database Reporting, Adobe Creative Suite, and the Microsoft Office Suite.

Minimum Requirements:
A high school diploma and five years of appropriate experience. Appropriate college coursework may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Employee must be able to represent the CWC in a professional manner as part of an integrated team of clinicians, professional and technical staff. Employee must be sensitive to working in a diverse/multicultural environment. Proficiency in word processing and excellent data entry skills are required. Good verbal and written communication skills necessary. The ability to work as a team member and function well under pressure is necessary.
