The Level 2 inside sales representative will work cooperatively with outside sales and other members of the company to grow existing customers, create new customers, and increase overall customer satisfaction.

Looking for 2 roles:
  • 8+ years of sales and/or customer service experience -Strong leadership abilities
  • 3+ years of sales and/or customer service experience within the Plumbing / HVAC industry preferred
Essential Functions

Job Duties:
  • Enhance customer relationships through excellent customer service
  • Make outgoing calls to generate new and repeat sales by providing product and pricing information in a timely manner
  • Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability or specifications
  • Present price, credit and terms in accordance with standard procedures and customers’ profitability profiles
  • Accurately process customer transactions including sales orders, quotes, returns, debits, and credits
  • Provide accurate information regarding availability of in-stock items
  • Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, and add-on sales
  • Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed
  • Contact customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaint
  • Maintain customer records by updating customer master data account information
  • Identify trends in customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction
  • Recommend potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs
  • Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with other members of the team
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

  • Customer Service – both internally and externally
  • Use Product and Market knowledge to assist management in making key decisions about feasibility of new products and services
  • Able to accurately document problems and customer service issues and analyze information
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills- including listening and conflict resolution
  • Advanced telephone sales personality skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Should be proficient with all company software including MS Office and SAP
  • Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills
  • Able to multi-task activities with shifting priorities
  • Ability to assist Level 1 Sales / Customer Service members and serve as role model
  • Ability to assist management in developing business reports

Education and Qualifications:
  • BA / BS in Business or Marketing – or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of sales and/or customer service experience
  • 3+ years of sales and/or customer service experience within the Plumbing / HVAC industry preferred
  • Able to travel up to 10% of the time (4-5 times a year at most)
