Position Objective:
Director of Clinical Education for the Respiratory Care Program. This position is a two semester (163 day) contract. First review of applications will begin on 3/20/2012 and will continue until the position is filled.

Minimum Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Cardiorespiratory or related field.

Minimum Experience/Training:
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in clinical respiratory care Minimum of two (2) years' experience teaching in an accredited respiratory care program either as an appointed faculty member or as a clinical preceptor.

Minimum Certification/Licenses:
The Director of Clinical Education must hold a valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential and licensure from the State of Florida.

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
The Director of Clinical Education will be responsible for organization, administration, continuous review, planning, development, and general effectiveness of clinical experiences for students enrolled in the respiratory care program.
