WESTERN KENTUCKY UNIVERSITY COMPUTER SCIENCE DEPARTMENT
The Computer Science Department at Western Kentucky University is seeking candidates for a full-time Instructor position. The start date for the position is August 15, 2013.
Western Kentucky University is located in Bowling Green, KY, about an hour from Nashville, TN, and about 2 hours from Louisville, KY.
Responsibilities: The position requires teaching a variety of Computer Science courses, both for majors and non-majors, primarily at the first and second year level. Typical courses would be introductory programming using languages such as Visual Basic, Python, and C. Specific courses will depend on department needs.
Qualifications: Applicants for this position are required to have an earned Master's degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours of Computer Science courses. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required, as well as a commitment to serving a diverse student body.
