Position reviews the accuracy of all insurance/annuity transactions; checks contract data with insurance companies; responds to a high volume of broker calls relating to insurance paperwork requirements; provides assistance to brokers in using the Annuity Net Order system as well as product and technical assistance.
Reviews and verifies the accuracy of insurance/annuity transactions, ensuring that all paperwork has been completed properly, that all Stifel acknowledgment letters are completed and signed, and that the transactions have been approved and signed by the appropriate member of branch management.
Reviews the suitability (comparing the old and new contracts) and the accuracy of the transactions, fees, and sub-accounts selections.
Ensures that investment objectives and financial information on Stifel’s new account form match the objectives on the TDR, following up and obtaining corrections if they do not.
Notifies the broker of any errors found or data elements in question. Professionally handles broker objections for delayed or cancelled transactions and can adequately explain such situations to supervisor.
Provides order-entry assistance to brokers and sales assistants.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Bachelor's Degree business or finance.
1 to 2 years industry related experience; prefer 2+ years exp with insurance products and internal/external wholesaling experience
Series 7 and Insurance license or the ability to obtain within one year.
Ability to obtain Series 24 within 2 - 3 years.
ResidentState Insurance License, Life and Health
The ability to work effectively in a high volume department and extremely detailed work environment.
