The IS Manager Business Analysis B2B can be located in our Buffalo, Santa Ana or Toronto office and has primary responsibility for managing all Ingram Micro IS business analysis for B2B (eCommerce). B2B or Partner Connectivity is the IS business to business electronic exchange of information with external trading partners. Business analysis B2B includes aligning partner capabilities with Ingram Micro solution offerings determining the business requirements for that process documenting the mapping requirements the timing & use of information and collaboration with the IS Integration Analyst B2B team and other IS teams. The IS Business Analyst - Partner Solution Services will work with Integration Analyst - Partner Connectivity team and IS Project Managers to deploy the solutions. This position will work with the external partner (customer vendor IML or service provider) and internal stakeholders to ensure all requirements gathering documentation testing training and communication is performed in conjunction with all service levels policies and procedures. The IS Manager will facilitate prioritize and communicate functional and technical requirements of customer accounts/stakeholders (internal & external) corresponding to multiple high complexity projects or initiatives to the Global IS teams and actively ensure timelines are maintained and successfully completed. This position must have an in-depth understanding of Ingram Micro's core business processes solutions and technology make up our environment. Must be able to research and evaluate additional tools and services in the marketplace that can be utilized to provide enhanced functionality to our solutions and systems portfolio. May be required to provide 7/24 on-call support for business critical events to explain business impact and communicate status to internal & external partners. In addition this position will be responsible to improve the ability of customer-facing business teams to adopt support and promote Ingram Micro capabilities. This position is responsible for both tactical services (e.g. timing frequency service levels quality standards etc.) and strategic services (long term evolution to improved processes and deployment methods standards and tools). This position will be accountable for driving continuous improvement in the area of Partner Solution Services including measuring and monitoring the key business metrics for the cost effective management of Partner Solution Services activities and managing customer satisfaction. Management skills include the ability to effectively lead interactions with all levels of internal and external clients and demonstrate the ability to independently weigh alternatives and determine strategy. The IS manager will have direct reports with administrative responsibilities.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Relevant Science and Math disciplines with an IS emphasis is required. An MBA is preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 10+ years of programming and systems design deployment and management is required. Knowledge skills and abilities required to perform this job include: Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a customer facing role. Demonstrated skills and knowledge of B2B integration technologies including EDI EDIFACT TRADACOMS XML RosettaNet and ERP integration. Understanding of data transport methods such as VAN AS1/2/3 SOAP FTP HTTPS Knowledge of integration methods to SAP ECC (IDOC BAPI RFC) Functional knowledge of Order to Cash Procure to Pay Supply Chain and/or Finance Demonstrated experience in business requirements analysis business process analysis and redesign project management and supervision. Proficiency in MS office and SharePoint; Knowledge of Visio and Project desired. Excellent speaking writing presentation (PowerPoint) and analytical skills
