What You’ll Do
for John Deere in East Moline, IL, you will communicate with business partners regarding the priority and status of their support requests and manage the support of 25 Parts Marketing java and host systems with a team of offshore resources. In addition, you will:
Support production systems quality, stability, performance and availability
Manage all Parts Marketing system source code
What It Takes
We need an excellent communicator, both written and verbal, who thrives on solving problems and working in a global team environment. Ideally, you will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and/or equivalent work experience. We also require:
2-3 years experience with Java
2-3 years experience with host skills (Cobol & SAS)
2-3 years experience with off-shore resources
A strong candidate will also have:
1-3 years experience with support management tools like Quality Center and CASD (Computer Associates Service Desk)
