Job Description:
Flowers Foods (NYSE: FLO), headquartered in Thomasville,
Ga., is a leading producer and marketer of packaged
bakery foods in the United States. The company operates
44 highly efficient bakeries that produce breads, buns,
rolls, snack cakes, and pastries, which are distributed
fresh to foodservice and retail customers in the
Southeastern, Southwestern, and mid-Atlantic states and
frozen to national foodservice and retail customers.
Flowers' top brands include Nature's Own, Whitewheat,
Cobblestone Mill, Tastykake, Mrs. Freshley's, European
Bakers, BlueBird, and Mi Casa as well as regional brands
that include Sunbeam, Bunny, ButterKrust, Captain John
Derst's, Evangeline Maid, and Mary Jane & Friends.
The IT Audit Professional reports to the Director of
Technology Controls and will have the following job

responsibilities:
  • Identify technology risks and help evaluate the
efficiency and effectiveness of the information
technology environment
  • Perform technology audits throughout the
organization, including pre and post implementation
reviews, SOX 404 and special projects
  • Research, plan, execute, deliver and effectively
collaborate on audits within assigned areas of
responsibility
  • Prepare audit plans and understand the specific
issues to be evaluated
  • Ensure that audit issues and associated root causes
are understood, well defined and presented to audit
and client management
  • Ensure audit issues presented are appropriately
reviewed with the auditee for accuracy and
completeness
  • Utilize problem solving skills to add value to areas
audited
  • Develop recommendations based on accurate
identification of potential business risks relevant
to the Company
  • Assist in the development of formal written reports
to communicate audit results to management and make
recommendations as appropriate
  • Facilitate obtaining action plans for issues noted
  • Support other department initiatives and
deliverables as needed
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
This position requires strong or expert SAP auditing
skills. The successful candidate must be knowledgeable
in SAP authorization concepts (e.g., user / role /
profile security, key authorization objects, etc.) as
well as how to audit SAP configuration (e.g., tables,

transport, etc.). Other requirements include:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to function effectively with limited
supervision
  • Strong knowledge of technology controls, internal
auditing standards, internal controls and risk
assessment
  • Strong understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404
testing requirements
  • Proficient with auditing IT processes, including
SDLC, security, change control, disaster recovery /
contingency planning and operations
  • Strong skills in project management, and issue
negotiation and resolution
  • Familiarity with IT control frameworks (e.g., COBIT,
ISO, etc.), general management information systems
terminology, concepts and practices
  • Strong understanding of internal controls in an ERP
environment (SAP required)
  • Proficient with auditing operating systems, networks
and databases
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and
PowerPoint)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information
Systems, Accounting or a related field
  • 3 – 5 years of relevant experience – preferably with
BIG4 public accounting, large private industry
company or a blend
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
designation required
  • Ability to travel up to 50% on an annual basis
PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
The following skills and experience would be a plus and

not necessarily required:
  • Other professional certifications such as CISSP,
CPA, CIA, CRMA, CFE, etc.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ACL,
Microsoft Access or other data analysis tools
  • Experience with Approva or GRC within the SAP
environment
  • Solid strategic thinking approach with business risk
awareness and appropriate judgment desired
  • Proficiency in insight generation, root cause and
business process analysis
  • An MBA or MS in Information Services (not required)
  • Good understanding of financial audit support
