Examine and analyze internal controls and business risks.
Audit computer applications, operating systems, databases, networks, hardware and data centers.
Work on a variety of projects that may include an assessment of general IT controls, application controls, adequacy of documentation, efficiency of operations, effectiveness of asset deployment, and systems implementation initiatives.
Make recommendations and analyses to improve management controls, mitigate risks, improve service to members, patients, and physicians, and optimize the organizations' competitive edge.
Perform work that is very diverse; assignments could include a wide array of businesses such as hospitals, physician practices, a health plan, and educational institutions.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.
Minimum of two (2) years experience in information technology, finance or a directly related field.
Minimum of two (2) year internal/external audit experience.
Minimum of one (1) current license, current certification or equivalent experience of the following is required:
CIA certification; or
CPA certification; or
CISA certification; or
Graduate degree in computer science
Minimum of three (3) years ERMS experience; or three years IT experience at Providence Heatlh & Services
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Minimum of one (1) year internal/external IT audit experience.
