ValueOptions®, Inc., the nation’s largest independent behavioral health care company, is seeking qualified candidates for a Business Systems Analyst position in the greater Baltimore region.
The Business Systems Analyst interfaces with Service Center, Client, and IT teams to identify business requirements. Serves as subject matter expert for system applications. Has detailed understanding of application functionality, system design and file structures. Uses IT knowledge and software application skills to complete functional specifications and review detail design specifications. Creates test scripts, conducts level 2 testing and documents results. Serves as a subject matter expert for end user testing.
Requirements
Requires a minimum of an Associates Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems supplemented by 3-4 years experience in application development and/or analytical role or equivalent work experience. Bachelor’s Degree or Masters Degree is preferred. Health Care industry knowledge strongly preferred, but not required.
