  • The IT Clinical Analyst I primary duties: Analyze, research patient records to implement, optimize, maintain, & enhance Unity’s PM/EMR/EHR Systems. Develop eClinicalWorks, GE Centricity system, & workflow processes/protocols for EMR functionality including progress note documentation, specialty forms, & clinical decision support functions. Facilitate/support standard system design & configuration for EHR system. Identify, resolve configuration & workflow process issues to improve operational efficiencies. Design/validate clinical databases including designing/testing logic checks. Work with EHR vendors to understand, troubleshoot, & resolve EHR-related issues & defects within system. Identify/research EHR-related system enhancements requested by medical/clinical staff. Participate in analysis, design, & configuration of EHR functions/features during system upgrades, defect resolution activities & enhancements. Identify, design, & create EHR-related training materials for end users. Provide EHR training, act as backup trainer for various disciplines. Administer, support end-user training by providing feedback/guidance on clinic processes, EHR workflows. Provide on-site support as needed with EHR. Perform quality control audits to ensure accuracy, completeness, & proper usage of clinical systems, data. Monitor work productivity/quality to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures.

    Requirements: BS in Business Administration, Computer Science or in a related field & 1½ years of experience in a health care institution. Skills: Experience in MS Office, Access. Must be willing to learn new trends in Clinical Management & Information Systems.
