General Job Description

The IT Developer develops and implements software and programs that provide technical solutions to meet specifications and business problems defined by company-wide user groups in order to promote efficient operations.

Essential Job Functions/ Duties:
• Develop and prepare the technical software to meet the user
requirements and specifications set forth by the company
• Create design specifications in concert with user preferences and
requirement specs
• Maintain existing and new software systems to ensure that system
procession programs continue to meet user needs
• Conduct system support and pre-use system testing and data analysis
• Interface with user management & staff regarding project status and
user needs to promote user cooperation and satisfaction
• Assist in scheduling, determining manpower requirements and
estimating cost/time required for project completion in order to meet
company project goals
• Ensure that appropriate written documentation is created and
maintained to meet company policy on software validation
• Provide assistance to various users as required for efficient software
• Maintain standards and proper project documentation
• Assists in the identification and resolution of production and/or system
applications problems related to the use of company database system,
software or utilities.
• Monitors system's activities as they relate to future
development/enhancement endeavors.
• Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others
to achieve company goals
• Must strictly adhere to safety requirements
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
• Must maintain company quality and quantity standards
• Must have effective oral and written communications throughout various
levels of the global organization
• Ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and
environments with minimal supervision
• Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations

Minimum Work Experience/ Educational Requirements:
• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Math or other related technical field; or
experience of such kind and amount as to provide a comparable
• Experience with data/systems analysis
• Experience in effective Project Management
• Experience working with minimal supervision

Physical Requirements/ Work Environment:
• General office conditions
• Sitting for long periods of time
• Visual and manual acuity for working with computers and equipment
