Job Summary:
The Developer is responsible for creating, maintaining, and supporting a number of custom enterprise applications. This position will also act as the primary support and maintenance resource for all custom .Net applications developed at SCA. This position will participate in requirements gathering and should be comfortable with client interaction, assistance and end user training. This position is responsible for documentation of functional/technical specifications, analysis, design and testing of assigned custom applications.

Essential Job Functions:
Build and maintain applications using C#, .NET, Silverlight, ASP.NET, Visual Studio and Team Foundation Studio
Design, develop, and unit test code in autonomous fashion (limited supervision)
Troubleshoot problems and provide technical assistance to deployment analysts and technical support
Write design documents for all projects and provide detailed information to quality assurance and technical writing
Provide prompt status updates to supervisor and meet agreed-upon milestones for work assignments
Position may require off-hours accessibility for technical support assistance

Requirements:
Strong experience with C# and .NET architecture including ASP.NET
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Self-motivated, detail oriented and comfortable with multi-tasking
Strong understanding of object oriented programming concepts
Experience with the MS Visual Studio suite of tools
Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services
Extensive SQL experience
Experience with Web Services is desired but not required
Experience with SQL Server Integration Services a plus
Experience with InfoPath a plus
Experiences with SharePoint and MOSS 2007 is desired but not required
Familiarity with Windows Server 2003 and 2008
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with software development lifecycle and methodologies

Education and Experience:
3 years of professional experience in Microsoft C# software development Knowledge, understanding and appreciation for creation of high quality software using various software development life cycles and quality assurance practices
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience (year for year)
