The Information Technology (IT) Finance Analyst provides support to promote the innovative use of technology for strategic and profitability objectives. He/She supports the operation of Information Services (IS) as a financially effective and industry leading global business.
The Financial Analyst is responsible for the financial support of the Portfolio Team. This requires understanding projects and applications and the key drivers of cost. The Financial Analysts is required to analyze projects and applications in order to validate and or eliminate cost. He/she is responsible to ensure that all financial guidelines, rates, schedules, formats and etc...are adhered to. They are also responsible to ensure that the portfolio team is trained and understands all of the financial forms they are responsible to use. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for preparing journal entries to accrue, capitalize and expense items according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
The Financial Analyst must have the following traits:
The Financial Analyst must be familiar with financial models and tools used to determine project financial benefits and profitability such as: Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Return On Investment (ROI), etc... The successful candidate must have strong Microsoft Office skills including but not limited to Excel, Access and Word. He/she must also have strong presentation and communication skills.

Accounting Requirements: Must be familiar and comfortable with debits and credits, writing journal-entries, analyzing General Ledger accounts, bookkeeping concepts, and Accounting/Month-End-Close processes, all according to GAAP.
Primary Skill: Microsoft Office
The desired IT Finance Analyst will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science or related discipline or the equivalent in education and work experience.
