You will be the first line of contact for all Venture related IT support issues in our corporate office. You will respond to technology requests, and other technology related questions and/or problems. You will help manage those issues/requests/questions; Assist in building and deploying hardware/software as needed and assist in building a positive customer service environment in our IT department.

You will be answering the phone/e-mail for IT and ensure timely and quick resolution to our support requests. Your help with our IT team offering support when needed during after hours will be required at times. Our IT Helpdesk clerk will help build and maintain all intranet websites and our IT Department home pages.

Some days will include preparation, configuration and installation of equipment as well as diagnose and repair hardware and software issues. You must be professional, detail oriented, have the ability to multi-task, be friendly and patient as you work with persons at all levels of business and have a good working knowledge of pc's hardware, software, Linux, web browsers, servers, and e-mail clients. DNS, TCP/IP, etc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CompTIA A+, Network+. Server+ (or comparable)

The ability to read and to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public and less technical people.

The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form.

The ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, stoop and climb as need to help with the implementation of hardware and software. You must be able to lift up to 25 pounds independently and to see effectively.
