Kringle Candle Company now has an opening for an experienced Help Desk Manager to provide timely and direct IT support to all of our end users. The Help Desk Manager acts as the first point of contact to troubleshoot technology issues, analyze symptoms of technical problems, and provide hands-on fixes, or utilize the services of a 3rd party service provider as needed, to restore or improve service quickly and economically. The Help Desk Manager is also responsible for installing and upgrading software and hardware and configuring systems and applications all in a Mac environment.
An Associate’s degree or certification in information systems or a related field plus a minimum of 3 years help desk experience, or the equivalent, are required. Additional requirements include a thorough understanding of MS Office 2011 for Mac systems; Mac hardware and software applications; MS server functionality; ERP systems management and POS software (LightSpeed a plus); SQL database management; network administration and security; active directory; design applications; email; and firewall technologies.
