Reporting to the System Administrator, the Information Technology Systems Help Desk Support position provides the business knowledge and technical skills to perform the day to day duties in the User and Technology Support area.
Acts as initial contact for all internal customer technical support required for computer workstation hardware and software, network, operating system, printing, and Internet access problems. Duties include first level corrective action and problem escalation to System Administrator when necessary. Performs installs, upgrades, moves, and changes for computer workstation hardware and software, printers, and other peripheral devices. May assist System Administrator in special projects. Grow knowledge of Windows and OS X administration, Active Directory, iOS, networking protocols, security practices and general help desk trouble shooting activities. As knowledge increases, take on a more active role in the management of technology systems and network.
Associates Degree OR High School Diploma/GED and 3+ years in service positions, preferably in HCC Risk Management service industry.
Must be computer literate including experience with Microsoft Office Products.

Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and generate a positive relationship with all stakeholders.
Exceptional service orientation.
Ability to be on call after business hours for questions or support.
Ability to assume additional responsibilities as needed and maintain confidentiality.
Understands the importance of maintaining the physical and technical security and privacy of protected health information (PHI).
