Location: Dallas Fort Worth
In need of an Infrastructure Support Specialist for a 3 month contract to hire role based in DFW.
: Provide telephone, remote and in-person support to user requests for assistance with all aspects of software, hardware, and phone operations. Provide Tier-2 level support on all software and hardware related problems and issues.
: Install new software packages on both firm PC and laptop computers.
: Perform routine maintenance and repair of desktop products (i.e. computers, printers, scanners, phones, etc.) including replacing failed hardware components and other peripherals, replacing toner cartridges, re-loading PC software and calling vendors for service and support.
: Provide audio/visual support in meetings and conference rooms within the office and for off-site events. This includes to coordinate audio/visual needs with staff, coordinate audio/visual equipment use and retrieval, configure data ports for conference room computer use, setup and operate videoconference equipment, assist with the coordination of all videoconferences between firm locations and assist with the repair and maintenance of audio/visual equipment with vendors.
: Assist with the relocation of existing equipment to support user moves and installation of equipment for new users, including re-imaging the computer.
: 5+ years' experience with desktop and helpdesk support corporate experience
: Windows 7 desktop deployment (WDS, SCCM, or SMS), PC refresh, imaging, mobile device trouble shooting and configuration, basic networking, Office 2010, and Exchange 2010
: Experience troubleshooting software such as Interwoven and Outlook 2010
: Experience setting up wireless networks, routers, VPN, etc.
: Experience troubleshooting blackberry's
: Ability to establish effective working relationships throughout the firm and with outside contacts
: Excellent organizational skills for prioritizing workload
: Ability to effectively handle telephone contacts with all forms of internal and external individuals
