Leads and directs employees within the immediate Database Administration and Business Intelligence development staff
Initiate regular and effective communication with Sr. Management and other staff
Set goals and maintain priorities for a given department
Manage workload, evaluate staffing levels and make recommendations to Sr. Management as necessary
Conduct and/or manage the completion of regular employee performance and compensation evaluations
Ensure standardization of systems implementation, support techniques, and adherence to formal processes, change control, best practices, and total quality practices in all activities
Manage and prioritize multiple, concurrent resources and projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to a rapidly changing environment
Consult and partner with the Human Resources Department on all employee issues while supporting adherence to company policies and procedures.
Create an atmosphere conducive to knowledge sharing and teamwork
Collaborate proactively with other department managers to support the meeting of overall IT and business goals.

Strong IT manager with experience in Database Administration and Business Intelligence. Implements and maintains policies and goals that support the organization's IT needs. Ensures proper functioning of the information database/reporting systems and oversees necessary upgrades. Helps business operations groups utilize information systems to improve their efficiency and add value to the business. Ensures computer equipment, hardware, and software are updated to meet organizational needs. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to upper management.
